There is a fluid-filled, trans-sphincteric fistulous tract, with the cutaneous opening seen in the left lower gluteal region, cranial to the level of the perianal skin/anal verge.
C E M.R fistulogram was done taking multiplanar & multisequential imaging on 1.5 Testa Superconducting magnet (Siemens Avanto-18 channel system) using 10 cc of Inj. MAGNILEK intravenously. No adverse reaction was noticed during or after the administration of contrast medium.

It is common in males and mostly affects hairy males.
